Morningmate Wiki – Folder and page management

The core of Wiki is organized categorization and secure permission management. Choose the right folder based on the nature of your documents and organize your team’s knowledge efficiently. 📂

1. Folder structure and access permissions by space

Morningmate Wiki is divided into three spaces based on the sharing scope of documents.

Category

Description

Access permissions

① Company Documents 🏢

A space for information that everyone in the company needs to know, such as company-wide announcements and internal policies.

Everyone in the company

② My documents 👤

A space for storing personal work notes or draft documents that have not yet been published.

Private — only me

③ Shared library 🤝

A space where documents shared explicitly with specific project members or through a link are collected.

Me + shared members

2. Creating and managing folders

🗂️ Folder: A folder acts as a container for other folders or pages. Click the arrow to expand or collapse it.

1) How to create a folder (adding parent/subfolders)

① Click the [📂] button next to a folder name to instantly create a new folder. Organizing folders by team or type of work makes documents much easier to find!

② You can continue adding subfolders within a folder. Click the [📂] button next to the parent folder name to instantly create a subfolder.

  • You can create an unlimited number of subfolders.

  • Organizing folders by department → project → stage makes it easier to understand your document structure at a glance, even as the number of documents grows.

2) Moving items with drag and drop

You can easily change the order of pages or move pages and folders between folders. Click and hold a page or folder, then drag and drop it to the desired location.

Tip!

  1. The hand cursor should look different when an item can be dragged versus when it is only clickable.

💡 You can move an entire folder, including drafts you have been working on in My documents, to the Company folder once it is finalized and share it with the entire company.

3. Creating and managing pages (documents)

📄 Page: A page is a document where you write and manage your actual content. Every page belongs to either My documents or the Company library.

1) From where you create a page determines where it is saved!

① Using the [+] button at the top:

  • Click the [Create new page] button in the upper-left corner from any screen to instantly create a document.

  • Documents created this way are always saved to [My folder] first. (Private — only visible to you.)

② Using the [+] button for a folder:

  • Hover over the Company folder or a specific folder and click the [+] button that appears to create a page.

  • The page is created directly within that folder without requiring you to move it separately.

  • Click the menu button to create a subfolder using the [New folder] button.

2) Creating subpages within the body

4. Page toolbar guide

The upper-right and left sides of a page contain useful icons for checking the document status and managing the page.

📂 Folder path: See the location of the current page at a glance.

⭐ Favorites: Click the star icon to save important documents you frequently access. They will be collected under the Favorites tab in the left sidebar for quick access anytime.

👥 Participant list: See the profiles of team members who are currently viewing or editing the document.

📂 Move: Instantly move the current page to another folder, such as from My documents ↔ Company library.

🕒 History (revision history): View previous versions of a document and restore it to a specific point in time when needed.
(👉 Want to restore a previous version?)

📤 Share: Invite team members or create an external sharing link to configure access permissions for the document.

"⋮" Menu: Provides additional management features such as wide view, print, page lock, and import.

Tip!

To share information with the entire company, you must create the page in the 'Company library' or move it there.

If you want to share a document with only specific people, create it in My folder and specify the recipients through [Share settings]. The document will then appear in the recipients' Shared library.

Deleted pages are moved to the Trash and can be restored if you have the required permission.
