[COMING SOON] A Guide to Integrating Google Drive for Easy File Access and Uploads
Updated today

This integration lets you connect Google Drive to our platform, allowing you to easily access and upload files directly to your posts without the need to download them first.

Let’s see how you can set up the integration🫡

1. Integrate your account with Google Drive

A. Integrate through My Settings

Access the 'Integrations' menu in My Settings and click 'Connect' in the Google Drive section.

By integrating with Google Drive through the Settings, you’ll gain access to all related Drive services.

B. Integrate through each feature

1) Integrate through the widget in dashboard

In case of the Google Drive widget in your dashboard, you may connect your account directly from the widget.

2) Integrate directly through post/chat

If you haven’t integrated your account through My Settings or the widget, you’ll be prompted to connect directly from the post or chat.

2. What features require connection with Google Drive?

1) Google Drive widget

With the Google Drive widget, you can directly check the 'Recent' or 'Starred' file lists in your Google Drive.

2) Convert file link to file attachment

  • Google document link to file attachment in post

Simply copy and paste the Google Doc URL into the 'Article,' 'Task,' or 'Event' post and it will be automatically converted into a file attachment.

  • Google document link to file attachment in chat

Sending a document link in chat will convert it to a file, which will be organized under the 'File' menu in each chat room.

3) Upload Files Directly from Google Drive

  • Upload Files in Post & Chat

Instead of copying and pasting the document URL, you can upload the file directly from Google Drive as an attachment.

4) Retrieve files organized by keywords

With the keyword feature, you can continuously view files from your Drive based on the keywords you’ve set, displayed on the right side of the screen.
