[COMING SOON] A Guide to Google Calendar Integration and Management
Updated today

Our service offers seamless integration with Google Calendar, automatically syncing your events and tasks from morningmate. Whether you create an 'Event'or 'Task' post, it instantly appears in your Google Calendar, ensuring you're always on top of your schedule.

Also, with the Google Calendar widget on the Dashboard, you can view your calendar at a glance without switching apps, saving you time and boosting productivity.

1. Integrate with your Google account

Integration is eligible the first time you click 'Connect' on the Dashboard or 'Add to Google Calendar' in an task/event post.

You can choose to integrate it using one of the two methods outlined below.

1) Connect through each feature (widget/task/event post)

  • Connect your account through the widget

  • Connect your account through task/event posts.

2) Google Calendar integration can also be set up through your Settings.

2. What features require integration with Google Calendar?

1) Google Calendar widget in your dashboard

The Google Calendar widget in the dashboard allows you to view your schedules, including any calendars you've subscribed to, without leaving the platform.

This integration helps you stay organized by providing a unified view of your appointments, deadlines, and events in one place.

Tip!

If you cannot find the Google Calendar widget in your dashboard, simply go to Widget Settings and add it to your dashboard.

2) Add an event to your calendar

After integrating Google Calendar with morningmate, the events you’re attending will automatically be added to your Google Calendar upon post registration. Other event posts can also be manually registered through the 'Add to Google Calendar' feature.

Tip!

  • Events for which you have indicated your attendance will be automatically added to Google Calendar.

  • Any changes made to the event post synced with Google Calendar will also be automatically updated in your Google Calendar.

3) Add tasks with deadlines

For task posts, each task can be directly added to Google Calendar. By clicking 'More > Add to Google Calendar' on each task post, the task will be added to the Google Calendar of the linked account.

Tip!

  • Only tasks with a due date will be shown in your Google Calendar.

  • If there are any changes to the due date or title of a task post registered in Google Calendar, those changes will be automatically reflected in Google Calendar.

3. How to remove or change your connected account

To disconnect your account, go to your integration settings and remove the account from the service you wish to disconnect.

To switch accounts or reconnect, simply click 'Connect' in the settings or directly from the feature (widget/task/event post).
