1. View all images, files, links
To view all files, images, and links shared in a chat, click on the menu icon (≡) located at the top right corner of the chat.

View all > Search
You can quickly find the files and links you need by using the search function. Simply type in a keyword and the relevant attachments will appear. You can also save the ones you need from the search results. To make it even easier, all chats that you are involved in are listed on the left side of the screen, so you can switch between chats and search for attachments shared in each one.

✔ Tip

Access to a centralized list of images and files is exclusive to paid business plan subscribers.

Saving and viewing files
You can preview files on your computer without having to download them, allowing you to quickly view their contents.

2. Inviting chat participants
To invite participants to a chat, click on the (≡) icon at the top right corner of the chat and select "Invite". This will bring up a pop-up screen of your organizational chart, where you can choose the members you want to add to the chat.

3. Turn notifications on and off simply by clicking a bell icon
You can control whether or not you receive notifications for new conversations by clicking the bell icon in a chat.

4. Pinning important chats
Keep your most important chats easily accessible by pinning them to the top of your chat list.

Identifying pinned chats
You can easily identify pinned chats in your chat list as they appear at the top with a colored pin icon.

✔ Tip

You can pin a maximum of 5 chats to the top of your chat list.

5. Chat settings

Notification settings
You can control notifications for each chat by going to "Chat Settings" and toggling the button to turn them on or off. The purple highlighted button indicates that notifications are turned on for that chat.

Changing a chat name
To change a chat name, open the chat settings, and click the pencil icon next to the name. After editing, click "Update the name for all chat members" to change the chat name for everyone in the chat room.

Exiting a chat
If you are no longer active or no longer need to participate in a chat, you can exit or leave the chat.

✔ Tip

Leaving a project chat is not possible at your discretion since it is managed within the project. Therefore, to exit the project chat, you need to leave the corresponding project.

6. Making an announcement
To make an announcement in a chat, you can select a message and pin it to the top of the chat. Simply click on the three dots next to the message you want to announce, and select "Announce." The message will then be displayed at the top of the chat for all participants to see.

7. Replying to a specific message
When multiple topics are discussed in a chat, it's helpful to reply to a specific message. Simply hover over the message and click the arrow icon that appears to open a reply space.

Type your reponse in the space
To reply to a specific message in a chat, hover your mouse over the message and click the arrow icon to open the reply box. Type your response in the space provided and send your message. Your reply will appear directly below the message you are responding to. Please note that only text and emojis can be used for replies.

✔ Tip

To go to the original message that you replied to, simply click on the message. If you want to return to the last message you viewed, click the arrow (v) at the bottom right corner of the screen.


8. Read receipt
You can check who has read a message by clicking the three dots next to it and selecting "Read."

You can easily distinguish between who has read and unread a message.

✔ Tip

You can also view the specific time and date when someone has read your message.


9. Deleting messages
If you accidentally send a message, you can delete it from your own chat or from everyone's chat.

Delete for me
By choosing "Delete for me," you can remove a message from your chat history without affecting other participants' chat history.

✔ Tip

You have the option to delete messages from your chat that were sent by others using the "Delete for me" feature. This will remove the message from your chat, but it will still be visible to other participants.

Delete for all
If you choose "Delete for all" for a message you sent, it will be removed from the chats of all participants.

✔ Tip

You can only delete messages that you have sent within 3 minutes. After that, the message cannot be deleted. Once a message is deleted, it will be replaced with the text "This is a deleted message".
