Duplicating Posts Across Projects (Copy posts)

Updated over a week ago

To duplicate existing posts in the same or different projects, you can use the "Post to another project" feature. This works for both posts you've created yourself and those created by others.

Keep in mind that comments will not be copied over with the post.

Tip!

By copying posts to another project, you can save time and effort when making the same announcement or creating the same type of task across multiple projects.

1. How to "Duplicate a post"

1) To share an existing post with multiple projects, open the post, click the three-dot (⋮) menu in the top-right corner, and select “Duplicate this post”.

2) Select the project(s) where you’d like to copy the post.

Choose the target project you want to duplicate to, then click "Confirm" at the bottom.

Tip!

  • The project where the post is currently registered will appear at the top, marked with a “Current” tag.

  • Since each project can have different status settings, a task can only be duplicated to one project at a time so that statuses can be mapped individually.

3) Before copying a post, you can edit its content or replace any attached files. Once the edits are complete, click "Confirm" to finish the duplicating process.

Tip!

  • If the primary post includes subtasks, they will be copied along with it.

  • When copying to another project, you can also assign task owners during the process.

2. Two post types to be aware of when duplicating to another project

When copying posts to another project, please note the following considerations for Task Post and Event Post.

1) Task Posts

*Status Reset or Mapping is Required*

Each project may have its own set of customized task statuses. When copying a task post into another project, you will need to either:
① Reset the task status, or
② Map it to the status options used in the target project.

2) Event Posts

  • Posts that include a video meeting link cannot be copied to another project.

⚠️ NOTE!

Unfortunately, copying the entire project is not supported.

Instead, please use the [Duplicate to Project] feature to duplicate only the posts you need, or take advantage of the Project Template feature.
