Article View Permission Setting

You can now select certain assignees and make the post visible to them only. It is useful when you want to share the post to certain participants.

1. Basic permission setting
All articles can be visible to either "all participants" or "only project managers".

1) All participants: all the participants in the project can view the post

2) Only project managers: Only project managers can view the post

2. Granting permission to task assignee & event participants

Assignees of the task or participants of the event, will be granted additional authority. By adding/excluding assignees, you may change the view permission depending on the situation.

1) Task Post

After setting the permission to "only project managers" view, any participant who has been assigned as assignee will be granted the authority to view the post, although he/she is not a project manager.

Tip!

1) If you are not assigned to the main task but subtasks only, you can only view the assigned subtasks.

  • Also, you will be able to see those subtasks only through the "task" tab within the project, or the entire task list from the "see all" menu.

2) If you are assigned to the main task, but not the subtasks, you will still be able to view all the related subtasks.

2) Event Post

After setting the permission to "only project managers" view, anyone added to the participant list will be granted the authority to view the event post, although he/she is not a project manager.
