Various tools provided by Zapier can be integrated into morningmate. Easily collect important information in morningmate by linking the tools you already use, such as G-mail, Notion, Google Calendar, and Spreadsheets, with morningmate!

Zapier is a service that allows you to automate tasks by linking two different tools by registering ‘Triggers’ and ‘Actions’. The Zapier integration process can be largely divided into three steps.

morningmate log in → Profile at the top right → Click ‘Go’ in ‘External Service Integration’ to connect to the Zapier homepage.

Simply select 'Start free with email' or 'Start free with Google' to proceed with the new sign up. If you already have a Zapier account, please log in directly to that account.

Search for morningmate.team in Apps on the left side of the screen, then click 'Connect' to enter the morningmate account. Once you log in, your Zapier account and morningmate account will be linked.

Zap can be understood as ‘linking operations between tools provided by Zapier.’ You can create a new Zap by clicking Create Zap in the upper left corner.

Click Trigger and select the desired condition (tool). You can think of a trigger as a condition that causes the desired result (action) to occur. This time, let’s select Gmail as the trigger.

You can think of Event as a more specific condition. For example, New Email Matching Search is a condition that allows you to receive notifications only for emails containing specific words. 🧐

You need to configure which Gmail account you want to retrieve emails from! This step is to connect to the account you are using for the selected service. Click ‘Sign in’ to select the Gmail account to connect and log in.

Now that you have connected your account, you need to select a condition that will become a trigger. In this connection, we will set it up to only receive emails containing the word 'morningmate'. 🙂

Select one of the previously received emails and click Continue with the selected record. If you proceed to the action stage without any problems, the test is complete!

You can think of an Action as a result that occurs when a condition called a trigger is triggered. After clicking 'Action', you can select the tool that will produce the result. Since we want to view it as a morningmate, we can search for morningmate, right? (You need to search for morningmate.team in the search bar. 🔍)

For Event in Action, you can select how you want this result to be displayed in the morningmate.

Similar to the instructions in Gmail, this time click 'Sign in' to connect to morningmate and then log in to your morningmate account.

3. Action

Now select the content to be shown in the morningmate. After setting the ID under which the post will be written, which project it will be registered to, and the title and content of the post, click 'Continue'.

Click ‘Retest Step’ to proceed with the final test. If you see the 'true/success' message on the results screen, it means that the test was successful. Click 'Publish' to complete the final integration! 🙌
