Login Security: Two-Factor Authentication & Concurrent (duplicate) login prevention

Updated today

You can strengthen login security by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) and concurrent login prevention. We strongly recommend using these features if you are concerned about account security or potential unauthorized access.

1. Access the “Admin” Page
After logging in to Morningmate, select “Admin” at the bottom left of the screen to move to the administrator page.

Tip!
The Admin menu button is visible only to Super Admins.

2. Go to “Login Security Settings"

In the Admin page, navigate to Security Settings → Login Security Settings.

3. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

When this feature is enabled, users will be required to enter a verification code when logging in from an unrecognized device.

Devices that have previously logged in will not require additional verification.
(However, if cookies or cache are cleared, verification will be required again.)

1) Choose verification method / receive code
You can choose to receive a verification code via:

  • SMS (Text message)

  • Email

2) Enter verification code and log in
Enter the verification code received through the selected method and click “Confirm” to complete authentication and proceed with login.

Tip!
If you need to remove a user’s verified device, go to:
Manage Members → Active tab → Devices, and click “Disconnect” for the relevant device.

(This is useful if a device was temporarily authorized on a different PC or mobile device.)

4. Prevent duplicate logins

When enabled, only the most recently logged-in device will remain active, and all other sessions will be automatically logged out.
