Login Security - 2 factor authentication & Preventing duplicate logins (Business+ only)
If you are concerned about account hacking or security, you can enhance login security by utilizing the following features. (Scheduled to be released in mid-may👍🏻)
1. Access the ‘Admin Console’ page
After logging in to morningmate, select ‘Admin Console’ in the bottom-left corner to navigate to the administrator page.
Tip! The ‘Admin Console’ feature is only visible to morningmate administrators within your company. |
2. Go to ‘Security settings > Login Security Settings’
Go to the ‘Security Settings > Login Security Settings’ section within the admin console page.
3. Activate Two-Factor Login Authentication Settings
Once the feature is enabled, when logging in from an unrecognized device, you will need to enter an authentication code. However, on devices with existing login-records, the two-factor authentication process will not be required.
(1) Select an Authentication Method
You can choose whether to receive the authentication code through email or mobile phone number.
2) Authentication code
If you enter the authentication code received from the selected authentication method, you will be logged in once the two-factor authentication is approved.
Tip! If you want to remove authentication device information, go to 'Manage members > Device' and click 'Disconnect' for the associated device. (ex. If you temporarily authenticated using a different PC or mobile device that is not your own)

3. Prevent duplicate login
Once the feature is enabled, only the last connected device will retain the login session, and all other devices will be automatically logged out.
