Push notification problems? Here's what to try

If you are not receiving push notifications for the desktop app, you may need to check the following settings:

Ensure push notifications and do not disturb settings are turned on Navigate to My Settings > Notifications and ensure that both Push and Do not disturb settings are turned on.

✔ Tip
If you are using the desktop app and not receiving push notifications, make sure you are in full-screen mode and check your notification settings in My Settings.

2. Project notification settings
You can check the project notification settings by navigating to the Notifications section within a project and verifying whether push notifications are turned on.

3. Turn notifications on and off
To turn chat notifications on and off, click on the bell icon located in the chat.

4. Desktop (Windows) settings

Check if notifications are enabled for the Morningmate desktop app in Windows settings. To do this, go to Start > Settings > System and click on Notifications & actions. Scroll down to the Get notifications from these senders section and make sure the toggle switch for Morningmate is turned on.

Make sure that you have enabled the Notifications and actions settings for the Morningmate desktop app by checking if it's activated under the Notifications and actions menu.

If you are using Morningmate on web browsers such as Chrome, Edge, or Whale, please double-check the notification settings for each browser.

5. Window 11 notifications > Focus Assist
Check if 'Focus Assist > Concentration Support' is disabled on your PC's Windows. Focus Assist is a Windows built-in feature that is available only in Windows 11.

To do this, go to Windows icon > Settings > System > Notifications.

6. Check the notification settings for each web browser

To ensure that notifications are enabled for Morningmate on your web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Whale), you should review the notification settings for each browser.

Chrome
You can access the notification settings directly by typing the following link in the address bar: "chrome://settings/content/notifications".

Edge
Access the notification settings in Edge by typing the following link: edge://settings/content/notifications.
