Block multiple logins
Updated over a week ago

Morningmate offers the option to limit the number of devices each user can use to access the platform. When the "Prevent multiple login" feature is enabled, a user can only utilize a specific account to log in to Morningmate on a single device, whether it be a browser, mobile device, tablet, or desktop application.

✔ Tip
The feature to "Prevent duplicate login" will be applicable to all members uniformly.

1. Admin console

Upon logging into Morningmate, access the Admin Console by selecting it at the bottom of the left-hand menu bar.

✔ Tip
Only admins within an organization have access to the Admin Console menu, where they can add or remove other admins.

3. Activating :Prevent multiple logins: feature
Enabling the "Prevent multiple logins" feature causes the login session to persist on the device with the most recent login, while simultaneously logging out of all other devices.

4. Here are some scenarios where the "Block multiple logins" feature applies per device:

  • Desktop app and Web browser
It is possible to access the platform simultaneously using both the desktop app and a web browser.

  • Android app and iPhone app
Concurrent access via the Android and iPhone apps is not allowed. If you log in on Android using the same account that is currently logged in on the iPhone, you will be automatically logged out of the iPhone.

  • Chrome and Edge
Both Chrome and Edge are web browsers, therefore, you cannot use the same account to access the platform on both browsers simultaneously.
