If your company has many departments to register in Morningmate, you can download the Excel template, fill it out, and upload it for bulk registration.
1. Go to ‘Admin > Organization Chart Management’
After logging in to Morningmate, click Admin Console at the bottom left to access the administrator page, then select Organizational Chart.
Tip!
The Admin Console menu is visible only to your company’s administrators. Administrators can assign or revoke admin roles. (See How to assign an administrator)
2. Select ‘Organizational Chart > Add department
Go to ① Organizational Chart and click ② Add department
3. Download the Excel Template
Click Download Excel Template to save the template file to your PC.
4. Fill out the Excel template
In the downloaded template, enter the following fields:
Department Code
Department Name
Parent Department Code
Display Order
1) Department Code
Assign a unique department code for each department. The code can be set freely. Using a combination of letters and numbers is the simplest way.
Examples:
R&D Division = A, Marketing Division = B, Management Support Division = C
R&D Division, Dev. Team 1 = A01 / Marketing Division, Marketing Team 2 = B02
R&D Division, Development Team 1, Part A = A01a...
2) Department Name
Enter the name of the division, department, team, or part.
3) Parent Department Code
If there is a higher-level division or team, enter the corresponding department code of that parent organization.
Example:
Parent division of Development Team 1 = R&D Division
→ Parent Department Code = A
4) Display Order
Enter the order in which divisions or teams should appear. The order applies within the same depth level.
Examples:
R&D Division = 1, Marketing Division = 2, Management Support Division = 3
Development Team 1 = 1, Development Team 2 = 2
Marketing Team 1 = 1, Marketing Team 2 = 2, Marketing Team 3 = 3
5. Upload the Excel file
1) Click Attach to upload the completed Excel file.
2) Review the registered Department Code, Department Name, Parent Department Code, and Display Order to ensure they are correct.
After confirming, click Register.
6. Verify organizational chart information
You can review the registered organization chart under Organizational Chart.
Make sure the departments have been added correctly. If changes are needed, simply Add / Edit / Delete.
