🎉Google Meet Integration Now Available! (Update: 01/08/24)
By integrating Google Meet with morningmate, you can easily share your video, desktop, and presentations with teammates and clients.
Make sure to integrate your Google account in the settings first! :)
Morningmate offers three different ways to initiate a video meeting using your Zoom / Microsoft Teams / Google Meet account.
1. Starting a video conference in a project
Project participants can initiate a video conference by clicking on "Video Conference" located at the bottom of the participant list. Once clicked, a link to the video conference will be sent to the project chat.
Start a video conference from chat
To quickly start a video conference from any Morningmate chat, whether it's a 1:1, group, or project chat, simply click the camera icon. This will create a link to the video meeting, which you can choose to host on either Zoom / MS Teams / Google Meet. With this feature, you can start a video conference right away without having to share a separate link.
2. Adding a video conference to an Event post
Start video conferences easier by adding them to events when you create them.
✔ Tip
Note that if you select the "All-Day" option for your event's date and time, you won't be able to add a video conference.
Sharing a video meeting URL
To share the video conference URL, just copy and paste it into a chat or post for other participants to access before the meeting.
3. Starting a video conference in chat instantly
You can initiate a video conference in any chat - 1:1, group, or project - with just a few clicks. Click the camera icon and a link to the video meeting will be created and shared in the chat instantly.
Note: To create a video meeting using Zoom / MS Teams / Google Meet, it is necessary to integrate your respective account(s) with Morningmate. For instructions on integrating your Zoom account, please refer to the following article: Integrating your Zoom account
