You have the option to receive important updates and unread notifications via email, ensuring that you don't miss any critical tasks. This adds an extra layer of security to ensure that you stay up to date with your work.

✔ Tip

  • This feature could be helpful in ensuring that you don't miss any important tasks or updates, especially if you tend to forget to log in to your account regularly.

  • It can serve as a reminder of important tasks that are relevant to you.

  • You can use it to get an overview of all the tasks and events scheduled for the week.

1. Mailing list
Morningmate offers a mailing list feature that allows you to receive notifications for specific tasks. You can opt to receive notifications twice a day for tasks where you have been @mentioned, newly assigned tasks, and when there are changes in the status of tasks you have assigned to others.

- Morningmate sends two email notifications per day, at 7am and 1pm, to update you on unread notifications related to specific tasks. The 7am email includes all notifications that were unread as of that time, while the 1pm email covers notifications that came in between 7am and 1pm.

- If you have multiple unread notifications in a category, the email will only show the three most recent ones, and the rest can be viewed in the "More" section.

- If there are no unread notifications in the categories you've selected for the mailing list, you won't receive an email. Additionally, duplicate notifications will not be sent again, even if they remain unread.

2. Weekly report
At 5am every Monday, you will receive an email containing a report of the tasks you need to complete for the week and the tasks you have requested.

At 5am every Monday, you will receive an email containing your tasks for the week, the tasks you have requested, and your events for the week. Even during public holidays, you can expect to receive this email.

If there are no tasks, requested tasks, or events to report, you won't receive an email. Tasks that are in the Complete or Hold statuses will not be included in the email. If you want a task to be included in the email, make sure to add a deadline, as tasks without deadlines won't be reported in the email.
