How to configure push notifications

You can configure push notifications in Morningmate in the following three ways. For options 2 and 3, push notifications must first be enabled in your notification settings.

1. Enable or disable push notifications

If you do not want to receive any push notifications from Morningmate, you can turn them off in Settings.

2. Configure push notifications by project

If you want to receive push notifications only for specific projects based on their importance or relevance, you can configure notification settings for each project individually.

1) Configure notifications within a project

Open the project you want to configure, then go to More → Notification settings at the top of the page.

Follow the steps shown in the images below to configure your push notification preferences.

What are "Notifications related to me"?

When this option is selected, you will receive notifications only for activities related to you, including:

  • When someone comments on or updates a post you created.

  • When someone comments on or updates a post where you have previously commented.

  • When someone comments on or updates a post where you have been mentioned (@).

Comment notification types

  • Comments on posts I participated in – Receive push notifications when a new comment is added to a post you have participated in.

  • Comments on my posts – Receive push notifications when a new comment is added to a post you created.

  • Comments on posts mentioning me – Receive push notifications when a new comment is added to a post where you were mentioned (@).

2) Configure multiple projects at once

You can also configure push notification settings for multiple projects at the same time.

From the main screen, go to Settings → Select the desired projects → Notification settings, then choose the projects you want to configure and apply the notification settings in bulk.

3. Mute push notifications outside working hours

If you do not want to receive push notifications on weekends, holidays, or after work, you can configure Do Not Disturb mode by going to Settings → Do Not Disturb.

  • On the selected days, push notifications will be muted for the entire day.

  • On days that are not selected, push notifications will be muted only during the specified time period.
