Tips for managing files

To organize and view your files more effectively, navigate to the "Files" section on the left side menu bar. Here, you can view all of the files associated with the projects in which you're participating. To find the files you need more easily, you can search by file format or uploader. This will help you to quickly locate the files you need for your work.

1. View all files in Files
To view your uploaded files, go to the "Files" section, where you can see all of the files that have been uploaded to the projects in which you're participating. You can sort the files by project or file format to help you find what you're looking for more easily.

✔ Tip

To access the side menu bar when you need it, you can use the open/close filter button. This will allow you to easily toggle the menu bar on and off as needed for your work.

Finding files by project
If you want to view your files by project, you can access the list of all your projects and select the project you need. This will allow you to quickly find the files associated with that project.


Organizing files by folder
To organize your files by project, you can create folders within the project. All folders created for a project will be listed in the dropdown menu for easy access. This will help you keep your files organized and easily accessible when you need them.

Moving a file to a folder
To move a file to a folder, simply select the file and drag it to the desired folder. Alternatively, you can click on the "Move" button and select the folder you want to move the file to.

Creating a subfolder
To create a subfolder, you can add up to five subfolders under a parent folder. To view the location of a file, you can find the file location at the bottom of the page.

2. Finding files by file type
By default, all types of files will be listed in your view. However, you can easily sort your files by file type (e.g. PDF, Excel, Words) to help you quickly locate the files you need.

3. Finding files with search
To find a specific file quickly, you can use the search function to search by file name, keyword, uploader, upload period, and more. This will help you quickly locate the file you need without having to manually search through all of your files.

4. Display mode
You have the option to display your files in either a feed or a grid view. This allows you to choose the display mode that works best for you, whether you prefer a more compact or a more visual layout for your files.

5. File order
You can arrange your files by either file name or by the date of the latest upload. Depending on your choice of file order, you will have access to different filter options that can help you better manage and locate your files. This gives you more control over how you organize and access your files.

Using sorting preferences to manage your files in a list view
If you prefer a list view, you can sort your files in different orders such as file name, date of the latest upload, file size, and uploader. You can arrange your files in either ascending or descending order using the ▲ and ▼ icons.

✔ Tip

When arranging files in a list view, the ▼ icon is used to sort files in descending order, while the ▲ icon is used to sort them in ascending order.

Sorting your files by date or name in a grid view
If you prefer a grid view, you can sort your files by the date of the latest upload or by file name. This allows you to quickly and easily locate your files in a visual format, and customize the way your files are displayed according to your preferences.
