Integrating Morningmate events and tasks with your Google Calendar
Updated over a year ago

By integrating with Google Calendar, you can view all of your Morningmate events and tasks in one place. This makes it easy to manage your schedule and to-do list more efficiently.

1. Integrating with Google Calendar for the first time
By connecting to Google Calendar once, you can see all of your Morningmate events and tasks in Google Calendar. This makes it easy to keep track of your schedule and to-do list in one convenient location.

  • Connect Google Calendar directly in an Event/Task post
By clicking on the three dots in an Event or Task post and selecting "Add to Google Calendar", you can link your Google account to the event or task. This will integrate it with your Google Calendar for easy scheduling and management.

  • Connect your Google Calendar in My Settings
To connect to your Google Calendar, navigate to "My Settings" and select "Integrations". From here, click on the "Connect" button next to Google Calendar. A login pop-up will appear where you can enter your Google account information.

✔ Tip

If you want to disconnect your Google Calendar from your Morningmate account, you can do so by going to "My Settings", selecting "Integrations", and then clicking on "Google Calendar". From here, select "Remove" to disconnect the integration.

2. Adding events/tasks in Google Calendar
After integrating your Morningmate account with Google Calendar, you can add new events and tasks directly in Google Calendar. Note that task and event calendars are created separately in Google Calendar.

  • Adding an event in Morningmate

When you create a new event in Morningmate and are marked as an attendee, it will automatically be added to both your Morningmate calendar and your Google Calendar. Additionally:

- Events in which you have been added as a participant will be automatically synced with your Google Calendar.

- If any changes are made to the events that have been synced with Google Calendar, the changes will be automatically updated in your Google Calendar as well.

  • Adding a task in Morningmate

To add an individual task from Morningmate to your Google Calendar, click on the three dots and select "Add to Google Calendar". Note that:

- Only tasks with a due date will be shown in your Google Calendar.

- Any changes made to the tasks that have been synced with Google Calendar will be automatically updated in your Google Calendar.

3. Disconnect integrations or change the account
To disconnect an integration or change the account associated with it, go to "My Settings" and select "Integrations". From here, you can click on "Remove" to instantly disconnect your account. If you want to change the account associated with the integration, simply click on "Connect" again to select a different account.
