Creating an 'Article' post

To share information or make announcements with your team, you can create an article by adding text, images, and files.

1. Writing an 'Article' type of post
To write a post, select "Article" and a popup window will appear where you can create your post. Give your post a title, add the details, and then click "Post" to publish it to the project participants. Remember, you need to write something in the content section before you can post it. You can also add text, images, and files to your post to share information or make announcements to your team.

2. Article post features
In an Article post, you can customize the text with various formatting options, such as bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough. You can also add attachments, location information, hashtags, and mention other participants in the post.

Font style
To change the font style of your text in an article, simply highlight the words and a menu with various options such as bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough will appear.

A preview of a URL
When you type in a link, a preview of the corresponding webpage will automatically appear below the URL. You can easily drag and drop the link preview to move it to a different location within your post.

✔ Tip

To delete a link preview, simply click the trash bin icon located in the top right corner of the preview.

Attaching files and images
Click on the clip icon to access various options for adding images and files to your post.

Using #hashtags
You can create a hashtag by adding a word after the "#" symbol and pressing the spacebar.

@Mentioning someone
To mention a member in your post or comment, simply type the "@" symbol followed by their name.

✔ Tip

You can use "@ALL" to mention all the members who are participating in a project.


3. Post visibility options
You can decide whether to make your post visible to all project participants or restrict access to project managers only.

You can choose between two post view permissions:

  • Public: A post will be visible to all members who are listed as project participants.

  • Project managers only: A post will only be visible to project managers.

4. Editing a post
To edit a post, simply click on the three dots located at the top right corner of the post.

✔ Tip

The ability to edit a post is limited to the original poster. If there are posts created by someone who is leaving the organization or team, it's important to remind them to edit their posts before they depart.
