Copying a post to another project
Updated over a week ago

To duplicate existing posts in the same or different projects, you can use the "Post to another project" feature. This works for both posts you've created yourself and those created by others. Keep in mind that comments will not be copied over with the post.

✔ Tip

By copying posts to another project, you can save time and effort when making the same announcement or creating the same type of task across multiple projects.

1. "Post to another project" feature
To share an existing post across multiple projects, select the post and click on the three dots located at the top right corner of the post. From the dropdown menu, select "Post to another project".

✔ Tip

All subtasks can be copied over.

2. Two things to be aware of when copying a post to another project

  • 'Task' posts' assignee won't be copied over when duplicating a post to another project.
When copying a 'Task' post type, note that the participants may be different for each project, so you cannot assign an assignee at the time of copying the post. You can assign one after it has been posted to the new project.

  • When copying an Event to another project
If an event includes a video conference, you cannot copy it to another project.
