Editing & deleting projects

Projects can be edited or deleted after they have been created.

Tip!

Only project managers have the ability to edit or delete projects.

1. Editing a project
To edit a project's options and permissions, simply click on the three dots next to the project name and select "Edit project".

  • Editing project permissions
    To edit the project permissions, click on the three dots next to the project name and select "Edit project". From there, you can change the permissions for posting, commenting, and downloading files. Keep in mind that the permission to view posts cannot be changed once the project has been created.

2. Deleting a project

Once you are done with a project, sometimes it is necessary to remove it from your project list to distinguish from the ongoing projects. You can delete a project forever, or even restore it from the removed list.

  1. Even if there are posts remaining in a project, you will be able to delete a project by clicking 'More' > 'Delete Project' button.

  • Deleting a project will also delete the 'Project Chat Room' associated with it. (Img.#1)

2. Administrators of your company can permanently delete or restore projects that have been initially deleted under the ‘Admin Console > Project Management’ menu.

  • When an administrator permanently deletes a project, data inside the project cannot be recovered.(Img.#2)

3. When a project manager deletes a project, participants will be notified that the project has been deleted.

Tip!

  • Participants will also be notified when a deleted project is restored by the company administrator (Img.#3)

  • Restoring a project will also recover the 'Project Chat Room' that was associated with the project. (Img.#4)
