Have you found it inconvenient to switch between Teams and Morningmate while working in Teams? š„¹
With the Morningmate integration for Microsoft Teams, you can access Morningmate's dashboard, feeds, tasks, notifications, and more without leaving Teams.
1. What is the Microsoft Teams integration?
The Microsoft Teams integration allows you to use Morningmate's core features directly within Teams.
The Morningmate interface added to Teams is synchronized with the main Morningmate service in real time, allowing you to view, create, edit, and manage content directly from Teams.
2. Install the Morningmate app in Teams
1) Open the Add an app screen
Log in to Microsoft Teams, then click the [+] (Add an app) button at the bottom of the left sidebar.
2) Search for the Morningmate app
When the Apps screen opens, search for āMorningmateā in the āSearch for apps and moreā search bar, then select Morningmate from the search results.
3) Add the app
On the Morningmate app details page, click [Add] to install the Morningmate app to your Teams account.
3. Connect your Morningmate account
Once the app is installed, you can either click [Open] to access Morningmate with the full integration or use [Select a channel] to connect a specific Morningmate project to a channel tab.

4. Use full integration with [Open]
Select [Open] to use Morningmate's full interface directly within Teams. Access your dashboard, projects, chats, and other Morningmate features without leaving Teams.
1) Sign in to your Morningmate account
After clicking [Open], the Morningmate app icon will be added to the left sidebar in Teams, and a chat with the bot will open.
Click [Sign in] in the chat message.
When the login window appears, a Permission Request screen will be displayed. Grant the requested permissions, then enter your Morningmate account ID (email address) and password to complete the sign-in process.
2) Set up notifications
Once your account is connected, a notification settings card will appear in the chat. Click [Notification Settings] to choose which Morningmate notifications you want to receive in Teams.
There are three notification filter options:

Check [Activity Summary] to receive a summary of activities such as comments, likes, and new posts in the chat twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
After configuring your preferences, click [Save].
Tip!
You can change your notification settings at any time.
Mention notifications are always sent regardless of which filter you select. You will not receive notifications for activities you performed yourself.
3) [Home] tab ā Use the Morningmate dashboard
Once the integration is complete, click the [Home] tab at the top to display the Morningmate dashboard directly in Teams.
You can use Morningmate's features within Teams just as you would on the web.
From the left sidebar, you can quickly navigate to Dashboard, My Projects, Company Public Projects, and more.
The All Tasks section provides quick access to All Tasks, Gantt Chart, Calendar, Bookmarks, Mentions, My Posts, Drafts, and Trash in one place.
You can also open individual projects to create posts, add tasks, use chat, and access other Morningmate features directly from Teams.
Tip!
Full integration through [Open] gives you access to Morningmate's overall interface within Teams, including dashboard widget settings, project creation, and AI Search, just like the Morningmate web experience.
Changes made in Teams are synchronized with the main Morningmate service in real time.
5. Connect a specific project with [Select a channel]
Want to quickly access only a specific project from a Teams channel? Use [Select a channel] to choose the project you need and connect it directly to a channel tab.
1) Select a channel and move to the next step
From the screen where you initially added the Morningmate app in Teams, select the desired channel under [Select a channel], then click [Go].
Follow the steps shown in the image to continue.
2) Connect your Morningmate account and select a project
After moving to the selected channel, the [Connect to Morningmate] screen will appear.
As with the previous process, click [Connect], sign in to your Morningmate account, and grant the required permissions.
Once the connection is complete, the [Select Project] screen will appear, showing a list of Morningmate projects you currently participate in.
Select the project you want to pin to the tab, then click [Save].
Tip!
Use [Search Projects] to quickly find the project you need when you have many projects.
If you select [Post information about this tab to the channel], channel members will be notified that a new tab has been added.
3) Use the project from the channel tab
Once saved, the selected project will be added as a tab at the top of the Teams channel.
Click the tab to access the project's Feed, Tasks, Gantt Chart, Calendar, Notifications, and Insights.
You can also create posts such as posts, tasks, events, to-dos, and polls, as well as leave comments and use other core Morningmate project features directly within the Teams channel.

Unlike full integration, channel tab integration allows you to focus on a single selected project and easily share it with your team.
Changes made from the channel tab are also synchronized with the main Morningmate service in real time.
