We've compiled some of the most frequently asked questions about the API and Webhook features provided by Morningmate AI Work Agent.
Q1. Which plan do I need to use the Morningmate API?
Morningmate API features are available only to paid business accounts associated with an organization using the Starter, Standard, or Pro plans. API features are also available during the 14-day free trial provided when you first sign up for a business account, so we recommend testing the features thoroughly before adopting them. 😊
Note: API features are not available to free external users (guest accounts). Please refer to the Guest Account Guide for more information.
Q2. How do I issue API authentication credentials (tokens/keys)?
An organization administrator can log in to the Developer Portal and create authentication credentials directly from the Key Management page.
TIP! For security purposes, make sure to store issued authentication information (tokens/keys) securely and do not expose it externally.
Q3. How many Notification Bot IDs can I create?
You can create up to 2 Notification Bot IDs per organization.
Q4. What should I do if an API request fails?
If an API request fails, check the following items in order:
1. Check your authentication information — Make sure the token/key has been entered correctly. (See Getting Started > Authorization.)
2. Check the request format — Make sure all required values and formats are correct in the Request tab of the relevant API documentation.
3. Check the error details — You can find the cause of the returned error code and the recommended solution in the Error tab of the relevant API documentation.
If the issue persists after checking all of the above, please use the 'Send Feedback' button in the bottom-left corner of the Developer Portal or contact Morningmate support. We'll be happy to help! 🙌
Q5. I can't see the 'Integration Code' for a chat or project.
If the Integration Code does not appear for a specific chat or project, please use the 'Send Feedback' button in the bottom-left corner of the Developer Portal or contact Morningmate support. We'll be happy to assist you as quickly as possible.
Q6. How is the MCP feature provided in Morningmate?
Morningmate provides an MCP server using a remote connection. When you connect Morningmate to an MCP-compatible AI client such as Claude or ChatGPT, you can read and write Morningmate data within the scope of your user permissions through OAuth authentication.
Morningmate currently provides 45 tools. For more information, see the MCP Overview and Integration Scope.
