Repattern's post editor can be opened on almost any screen where you write or view a post. However, the available features vary depending on the screen you're on. Whether you need to refine a draft, organize lengthy content, or translate text into another language, you can handle it directly without leaving the screen.

Tip!
In the post view screen, only Create task and Refine writing appear when you select text. If you need more extensive editing, switch to Edit mode or use Repattern edit.
1. How to use the post editor
You can start the Editor in four ways, depending on the situation.
(1) Inline popup: Select text
Select all or part of your written text to display a small inline popup above the selected area. This is the quickest way to access the Editor and applies the requested action to the selected text.
(2) [Repattern edit] in the inline popup
Select all or part of your written text, then click Repattern edit in the inline popup. The Editor panel opens on the right, and the selected content is added to the input field as a reference chip. You can then enter a detailed request, such as "Translate only this part into English."
(3) Shortcut · Preset
In a blank post editor, press Alt + / or ⌘ + /, or click Start with Repattern from the preset buttons. An inline popup will appear where you can enter your request directly.
(4) While writing a comment
You can also use Repattern when writing comments. Ask Repattern to draft a comment based on the post content or create a comment draft for sharing feedback or opinions.
2. Explore Repattern editing features
Repattern's editing features are divided into actions available directly from the inline popup and quick buttons.
(1) Actions available directly from the inline popup
The same features are available when writing comments.
Refine writing — Makes the selected text more natural and polished.
Check spelling — Checks spelling and typos and suggests corrections. (Available in write/edit mode.)
Repattern edit — Adds the selected content to the input field so you can request a specific action, such as translation or summarization.
Create task — Creates a task based on the selected content. (Also available in the post view screen.)
(2) Writing quick buttons
Rewrite — Generates a new result based on the same request.
Organize structure — Reorganizes the overall structure logically, such as into an introduction, body, and conclusion.
Enhance content — Identifies missing information and adds relevant content.
Summarize — Condenses the content to its key points.
Translate — Choose from Korean, English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Japanese, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Indonesian.
Formal tone — Rewrites the content in a formal, professional tone.
Casual tone — Rewrites the content in a friendly and approachable tone.
Email tone — Rewrites the content in a style suitable for email.
Tip! You can view the entire list of quick buttons by scrolling with your mouse wheel or horizontally scrolling within the button area.
(3) Suggested prompts
Not satisfied with the initial draft? AI suggests follow-up actions to improve the result based on the first response.
3) Apply results (result card)
AI-generated results are displayed as result cards. You can perform the following actions from the bottom or hover area of each card.
Post
Use the generated result as the body of a new post. This option is available for results generated through actions such as drafting, refining, or spell checking.
Apply - Apply the result directly to the post body.
If you selected part of the text and made a request → Only the selected portion is replaced with the result.
If you started from scratch without selecting any text → The entire post body is overwritten with the result.
⚠️ Important!
Once you click [Apply], the card changes to [Applied], and the same card cannot be applied again or reverted.
If you want to modify a specific line after applying the result, select that line in the post and make a new request.
Example: Select one line → "Translate this part into Korean again." → Only that line is updated.
Tip! If the post is closed, the main button on the draft card is displayed as [Post]. If the post is open, it is displayed as [Apply].
Copy - Copies the result to your clipboard.
Insert at bottom -Adds the result to the bottom of the post without overwriting the existing content.
Select a project - Select the project where the result will be posted.
Tip!
When writing a post within an open project, the current project is automatically selected in the project field.
When no project is open, such as on the Dashboard or project list screen, you need to manually select the project where the post will be created.
4) Explore additional Repattern editor features
(1) Insert at bottom
Click the [+] Insert at bottom button on the right side of a result card to add the generated draft to the post.
This option is available only when the open post is a [Post/Task] post and is in Edit mode.
(2) Copy
Click the [⧉] Copy button on the right side of a result card to copy the generated content. You can paste it into any post while editing.
(3) Copy and share conversations
Each conversation includes Copy ⧉ and Share 📤 buttons. You can copy or share your requests or AI-generated results for further use.
Tip!
The Share📤 button shares only the selected request or result, not the entire chat thread.
(4) Minimize the Repattern panel
The Repattern panel can be minimized into a floating panel. This allows you to use your screen space more efficiently while continuing to refine and improve your content with Repattern on any screen except chat.
