Simply assign an AI agent to the task, and let it handle the rest! What if the Repattern AI you’ve invited to your project could research information and create deliverables on its own? With the AI Task Agent feature, you can delegate tasks to AI just as easily as you would assign them to a teammate!
1. What is the AI assignee agent?
What if you could simply assign a task to an AI agent, and the AI invited to your project could research the necessary information and create a ready-to-use deliverable for you?
With the AI assignee agent, you can delegate tasks to AI just as you normally assign tasks to team members.
2. Using the AI assignee agent
(1) Assigning a task to the AI agent
When creating a new task or changing the assignee of an existing task, select AI agent from the assignee list.
When creating a new task
When creating a task post, select AI agent as the assignee and click Register.
When assigning an existing task
You can change the assignee of an existing task to AI agent. Follow the steps shown in the image below.
Tip!
When creating a new task, provide as much detail as possible in the task title and description, including the purpose, background, desired deliverable, and reference materials. This will help the AI generate more accurate results. If there is not enough information, the AI may ask for additional details.
(2) Analyzing the task and reviewing details
Once you assign the task to the AI agent and provide details such as the purpose, background, desired deliverable, and reference materials in the task title and description, the AI agent will analyze the task and provide its findings.
Before creating the deliverable, the AI enters a detail collection stage. During this stage, a new screen appears where you can review the expected deliverable format and provide any additional requirements.
The example below shows the type of information that may be requested, such as the scope and purpose of the review, depending on the content of the task title and description.
After reviewing the details, click Run AI to submit the request. A notification will then appear in the project indicating that the AI agent has started working on the task.
Once the work is complete, the AI automatically creates the deliverable and changes the task status to Feedback.
Tip!
If you close or cancel the window during the detail collection stage, the AI agent will be unassigned and the AI task will not be performed.
Based on its analysis, the AI agent explains in natural language what it can and cannot accomplish. The guidance may differ depending on whether the task can be completed fully, partially, or is difficult to perform.
(3) Reviewing the deliverable
Once the AI completes its analysis and work, the deliverable is provided as the top-level comment on the task post.
File-based deliverables: A file in the selected format (DOCX, XLSX, PDF, or PNG) is attached to the comment.
Comment-based deliverables: The analysis and results are written directly in the comment.
3. Requesting revisions
If you are not satisfied with the deliverable or need additional changes, you can request a revision by clicking Feedback on the deliverable comment and leaving a reply.
When you click the button, a reply field with the AI agent @mentioned will appear. Enter your requested changes and send the reply to start the revision process.
Tip!
Only the person who originally assigned the AI agent can request revisions. If another participant mentions the AI agent, the revision process will not be initiated.
Other participants can leave their feedback through regular comments or replies. We recommend that the original assignee collect this feedback and submit the revision request.
The Request revision button appears only on the comment containing the AI agent's completed work and is available only to the original assignee.
4. Reviewing revised results
Once the AI agent completes the task again based on your revision request, the updated deliverable is provided as a reply to the original comment.
Previous versions of the deliverable are also preserved in the comment history, so you can review them at any time.
