Post templates šŸ“

Do you find yourself rewriting similar posts from scratch every time? If you regularly use the same format for meeting minutes, QA reports, weekly work reports, or other recurring posts, try using the Post templates feature. Save frequently used formats in advance and simply load them whenever you create a new post!

The Post templates feature allows you to save templates for post titles and body content. Please note that this feature does not save subtasks or specific events. 😊

1. Create a post template

There are two ways to create a post template.

A. Save an existing content as template

First, create the post you want to save as a template. Then, click More (ā‹®) > Save as template in the upper-right corner of the post to register it as a template.

Note šŸ“¢

You cannot save a post as a template if you are not a project manager or if the post's visibility is set to Project managers only.

When saving a post as a template, you can choose between a Project template and a Personal template, or select both.

B. Create a new post

Save a template by creating a new post.

1) Open any post type except To-do and Poll.

2) At the bottom of the post creation window, click the Template button.

3) Click [+] to open a new blank post, then enter the text you want to save as a template.

Tip!

  • Project template: A shared template that can be used by all project members. Only project managers can create, edit, or delete project templates, but all project members can use them.
ā–¶ These templates will appear only when you enter this project.

  • Personal template: A template for your own use. All members can create and use their own personal templates.
ā–¶ These templates will appear in all projects you are pariticipating.

2. Use a post template

When creating a post or task, click Select a template to view your saved personal templates and the project templates available in the current project.

Select the template you want to use, and its content will be automatically filled in. If you need to make changes, simply edit the necessary details before completing the post.

3. Edit or delete a post template

You can edit or delete your saved templates at any time. When you edit a template, the original post used to create the template is not affected.

  • Project template: Only project managers can edit or delete project templates.

  • Personal template: Only the person who created the template can edit or delete it.

šŸ“¢NOTE

Deleted templates cannot be restored, so please use caution when deleting them. 😄

4. Tips for using templates

Create project templates that match your team's needs to improve consistency across your work. Here are a few examples:

  • Customer support team
Save a VOC submission form as a project template so that everyone on the team can record customer inquiries using the same format.

  • Development team
Create project templates for bug reports or deployment completion reports to ensure that important details are not missed and records remain consistent.

  • General affairs team
Save recurring formats, such as weekly work reports and meeting minutes, as personal templates to create them quickly and efficiently.
