The employee and team member invitation process has been upgraded!

The Google Contacts integration allows you to invite members directly from your contacts list, including organization members, external contacts, and anyone you've emailed.

This saves time and simplifies the process, eliminating the need to add emails one by one :)

1. Invite members to your organization

1) On the left menu bar of morningmate, you'll find the 'Invite Employees' option, which will take you to a new page where you can invite your team members.


Then, click on 'Invite from Google Contacts'.

Tip!

Inviting members from Google Contacts is also available immediately after creating your organization for the first time.

2) Log in and integrate with the Google account from which you want to import contacts.

3) Choose one of the two groups to invite members from, then click 'Invite Selected'.

  • Google Contacts: Ideal for inviting external partners, as it includes your personal contacts, frequent contacts, and other contacts from your contact list.
    Note that anyone you've emailed at least once will also appear under the 'Google Contacts' option.

  • Google Workspace: Includes members from your company’s Google organization account and directory (available only if your company uses Google as the groupware platform).

Tip!

Even if a member is already part of your organization in morningmate, they may still appear in the recommended invitation list.

4) Once the invite is sent, selected members will receive an email to join the organization. Click on the "Join" button in the email and fill in your personal information to sign up.

Tip!

Company admins do not have to approve the invitee's request to grant access to the company.

2. Invite members through Google contacts on mobile app

You can also invite members through the mobile app using the same process above.

Tip!

  • Google Contacts integration syncs between web and mobile platforms. If it was not connected on the web, you'll be prompted to integrate via the mobile app.

  • Unlike other Google Workspace services, the Google Contacts integration is exclusively available through the mobile app.

  • Member registration via Excel file is only available on the web.
