1. What is Google Meet?
Remote work and virtual meetings are becoming more common, making seamless coordination and efficient task tracking more important than ever.
With features like screen sharing, real-time collaboration, and secure meetings, Google Meet enhances team productivity and helps you stay connected with colleagues no matter the distance. :)
2. Integrate your account
Before scheduling an event with Google Meet, you must connect your Google account.
1) Go to the "Integrations" menu under your settings and scroll down to Google Meet, and click "Connect".
2) Log in to your Google account and allow morningmate to access your Google account! 🙂
Tip!
Even without integrating your account in advance, you will be prompted to connect it when selecting Google Meet to create a meeting.
Integration with third-party services is only available on the PC App or Web version of morningmate, not through the mobile app.
3. How to create a Google Meet meeting
1) Create a Google Meet meeting in the 'event' post
① In the 'Event' post, click 'Add video conference' and select 'Google Meet' from the list of services.
② You can click on the [Google Meet Meeting] button or copy the link and forward it to someone to join the meeting directly.
③ By choosing to participate in the event, it will be automatically added to your Google Calendar, along with the URL to access the meeting.
2) Create a Google Meet meeting in a chat
If you're chatting with teammates and need a face-to-face meeting, you can quickly start a video conference with the chat participants.
3) Create a Google Meet meeting through project participant list
You can also invite the 'participant list' to create a video conference.
Access your project, click "Video Conference" at the bottom of the participant list, and you'll be directed to the project chat with a new video conference request popup.
4. Create Google Meet meeting on mobile app
All three methods mentioned above for creating a Google Meet video conference are also available on our mobile app!
